Pine study table sanded, water damage pieces replaced, frame clear gloss varnished with the exposed areas and drawer fronts stained in African Mahogany. Top finished with a 4mm frosted glass.
Imbuia chair cleaned, sanded and varnished. Chair finished with a newly upholstered seat.
Pine headboard and pedestals painted in low sheen white with turquoise highlights. Headboard finished with a turquoise tufted upholstered insert. Pedestals finished with crystal handles. Headboard and pedestals sealed with three coats of a water based varnish.
Creatively repurpose unused material
Garden tree trunks converted into a lampstand, 2-face side table and serving trolley. Lampstand spray paint in flat white with a varnished polished top. 2-face side table has half bark on the trunk and half off. Varnished in dark oak with a polished top. Serving trolley on wheels with a custom handle and leaves. Bark maintained all round and finished in a with a clear coat of varnish.
Herringbone plywood coffee table, made from scrap pieces of plywood glued together. Coffee table sanded and sealed with 7 coats of water based varnish, finished with a 4mm polished glass top.
Side tables designed and built from offcut wooden curtain rails. Tables stained Imbuia and clear coat varnished. 4mm glass insets used as the table tops.
