With the current challenges of load shedding, most homes make use of portable gas stoves (single plate or 2-plate cooker), however majority of kitchens out there were not designed to accommodate gas stoves. Often these gas stoves are placed on unsafe makeshift tables and moved back and forth between the kitchen and garage.
